Overpopulation is a developing, and pressing, human obstacle. The water wars are coming. The vast divide between the haves and have-nots is worsening, but don't feel too content with your position, because overpopulation will effect everyone.

De wereld is vol !!
De wereldbevolking is tussen 1950 en 2000 met iets meer dan 143 procent toegenomen; van 2,515 naar ca. 6,121 miljard mensen in totaal.
In 1804 woonden er één miljard mensen op de wereld. In 1927 waren dat twee miljard. Eind jaren 50 groeide de wereldbevolking tot drie miljard personen.Op 19 juli 1999 werd volgens de Verenigde Naties de zesmiljardste mens geboren.
De VN hanteert een scenario met betrekking tot bevolkingsgroei. In dat scenario, de "constant-fertility variant", wordt uitgegaan van een voortzetting van het huidige, hoge, geboortecijfer. In dat scenario zal de wereldbevolking in 2050 de 12 miljard benaderen. De VN gaat echter uit van een toename tot 9 miljard mensen. Maar dat is maar een aannamen !! Men weet het niet. Dit alles is niet goed voor de wereld en de mensheid. We willen allemaal meer, beter , langer leven. Dit is niet natuurlijk !! Klagen over dat alles zo duur wordt , gezondheidzorg voorop. We worden te lang in leven gehouden en daar verdienen weer wat mensen geld en macht mee. Maar of het goed is, die vraag wordt nooit gesteld. De kreet is niet nieuw maar geld nog steeds, "Save the World , Kill your Self " . Hard ,maar verschillende dier soorten doen die om hun soort in leven te houden.
